Winemaker’s notes: Agro-Urdiense is a family winery with roots in Villanueva de Ávila, a municipality located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, Spain. Being the fifth generation of winegrowers, with a project based on a model that has as objectives and values respect for nature and the expression of the uniqueness of the Garnacha grape and the land.
It aims to maintain artisanal production methods and a relentless pursuit of product quality offered by our vineyards with granite soils and higher rainfall, planted at an altitude of almost 1070 m in the Sierra de Gredos and more than 80 years ago, all of them worked manually and fertilized with organic matter.
Wine production: 18h maceration, followed by bleeding and fermentation in 225l oak barrels, where it matured for six months.
Intense pink color, saignée rosé, regional wine from Alto Alberche. It has a nose of ripe cherries in liqueur and is flavorful, expressive and clean, with good maturity, denoting freshness.
In limited quantities produced, a wine that expresses its terroir and that will stand out to impress.
Pair it with Spanish tapas, white meats, paella, Manchego cheese and salmon salad.
