A wine produced by the four friends behind the Les Tètes label, Nicolas, Philippe, Baptiste, and Vivien from Pineau d'Aunis, a rare, indigenous grape from this region. Les Tètes is focused on bringing fresh and fruity wines that are grown organically and fermented with native yeasts and with only minimal sulfur added. In their own words, “Les Tétes is about friendship, and wines you drink with friends.”
On the nose it exposes aromas of red fruits with a distinctive peppery note, characteristic of this grape. The body is light with refreshing notes of strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate and white pepper. The tannins are soft and the acidity is well balanced. A ‘vin de soif’ - (thirst-quenching) wine that you would want more than one bottle.
A slight chill recommended. Enjoy on its own or with creamy, soft cheeses.
