On the nose is gives elegant aromas of dark red fruits, plums and black cherries. Its fruity character complements with beautiful notes of dried violets very distinct to this varietal, but integrates well with a subtle herbal note of sage. It's delicate yet powerful aromatics accompanied by a mellow, smooth but juicy sip on the palate makes it very unique in comparison to other examples of this variety. The perfect "afternoon" wine, all structural elements are perfectly balanced creating an incredibly pleasant drinking experience.
Pair it with grilled steak, aged cheeses, beef empanadas and chocolate-based desserts.
