Emme Wines - 'summer will wake' Valdiguié
Valdiguié was foot crushed and left to ferment whole cluster for 10 days. After pressing, the wine finished prim ary fermentation in stainless steel tank, then was moved to neutral barrique to age for 5 months. Rosalind (winemaker) says this wine tastes of summer, full of sunshine and brightness and therefore named to reflect this feeling. Official tasting notes say: "Blackberries and brambles. Bright up front with a dark finish, like a soft summer evening."……And we couldn’t agree more. Ready to enjoy a summer evening?
