The name Etteilla is inspired by the connection between tarot and the metaphysical aspects of winemaking. They have found that making zero-zero wines requires the same level of faith in extreme plasticity as Tarot. It’s light and profound, linear and multidimensional, game like and complex. Like tarot, wine refuses to be reduced to any one of the countless possibilities it opens.
This blend of white (Palomino) and red (Merlot) hold expressions of both the red and white wine within, while becoming its own secret third thing. This wine tastes like pomegranate citrus punch and raspberry jello.
Pairs well with a charcuterie board, turkey dishes, soft cheeses and berry tart desserts.
