Le Masse Timeo is made from 100% Canaiolo (60 year-old vines) and a distinct grape that is unique to Central Italy but mainly grows in Tuscany. This is another incredible wine from winemaker Robin Mugnaini, third-generation owner of the estate.
Intense ruby red color sits beautifully on the glass offering floral, spicy and dried-leaves aromas. Medium-bodied, the palate follows with red berries, herbaceous and earthy notes, with a touch of sweet licorice. Tannins are soft and the finish a bit salty and delicious. A unique wine also noted for both its freshness and elegance.
Pair it with herb roasted chicken, tomato-based sauce dishes, cured meats platters, aged Gouda and Parmesan cheese.
