Susucaru Rosso is from iconic winemaker Frank Cornelissen, a Belgian scientist who moved to Sicily and began making one of the most well known natural wines in Mount Etna’s volcanic soils.
This wine is light-bodied, juicy with aromas of ripe cherry and strawberry, plum and baking spices, followed by hints of leather with medium tannins and tingly acidity. Approachable and great to pair with roasted white meat, bacon dishes, and of course baked ravioli and meat lasagna.
