Distributor’s notes: Tempranillo, with a little Verdejo - Half of the grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press and the other half in a vertical press. Carbonic maceration and fermentation in barrels are carried out. Approximately 5 months in barrels. Bottled without clarifying, filtering or SO2.

Another amazing wine from winemaker Ismael Gozalo, also known as “El Mago de las Verdejos”, he practices his sorcery in his medieval underground cellar located in his native town of Nieva. Barrels, fudres, anforas, damejeannes, stainless…young, old, skin contact, sparkling, biological and oxidative aging…you name it, he’s got it.

This wine is a bold ‘Tinto’, rich and intense, with blueberry, black currant, forest berries, clove and fig, lightly smokey. Medium to full-bodied, well balanced acidity and well-structured tannins. Super limited release.
