Montepascolo is located in the hilly Val d'Arda area, specifically in the municipality of Castell'Arquato, a splendid medieval village within the Piacenziano Nature Reserve, at 220 meters above sea level. The company extends over 13 hectares, 5 of which are planted with vineyards. Andrea and Paola, (winemakers) decided to create this company based on their passion for the land and the desire to "Return to the Origins" of generations of farmers and winemakers.
From a blend of 70 years old vines of Malvasia di Candia and Moscato Giallo picked by hand and left to macerate for about 90 days then aging in cement tanks, this wine in a delicacy, perfect for any occasion.
Think of aromas of orange blossom, jasmine, with a hint of sweet spices. On the palate you get a mix of citrus fruits, white peach, pear, passion fruit. Well-balanced with a bit of sweetness and acidity that is so refreshing and crisp. Unfined and unfiltered and so delicious to share with friends while looking at the sunset.
Pair it with seafood, Asian spicy food, aged cheeses and why not with peach cobbler dessert.
