Crafted by Bodegas Olarra in the Rioja DOC region, this is your classic Rioja Spanish red wine. Tempranillo being the primary grape in this blend, followed by Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano make this wine an excellent choice to pair with grilled meats and tapas with ‘jamon serrano’ & hard cheeses.
The aging took 20 months in wooden barrel (cask) with extended bottle aging before release.
Both the aromas and flavors are deliciously complex, with blackberry, forest floor, tobacco, oak and spicy notes. Full-bodied profile with well-balanced acidity, soft tannins and a lingering finish. A wine with the characteristics and personality of a ‘Rioja Reserva’ wine. ¡Salud!
