Riveras del Chillán - Merlot
Viña Riveras del Chillán, located in the historic Itata Valley, continues a family winemaking tradition of over 80 years under the leadership of Gonzalo Chandía Tolosa, the third generation of the family. The vineyard has focused on producing bottled wines with a low-intervention philosophy, aiming to extract the maximum potential from their grapes. A place of soft hills and granitic soils, where conquerors practiced viticulture since the end of the 17th century.
This is a different Merlot with a very pleasant palate. Dark in color, on he nose red and black fruits. Full body, but so soft with excellent acidity, fresh fruits and spices. Its finish is deliciously sweet and persistent asking for a second glass.
Pair it with cheddar, parmesan and brie, also burgers and veggies (eggplant).
