Vins de Pedra is a project of Marta Pedra, the wife of Josep Serra from La Vinyeta Winery, also in Catalunya. Growing up surrounded by vines, and from a family in the winemaking field, Marta went on to study oenology and spent some time working in small wineries within the region before embarking on her own project. Her wines are highly respected with emphasis in organic viticulture and minimal intervention.
Fermented on skins for 15 days in stainless steel, this blend is fruity, fresh, vibrant and a good expression of Trepat, a local grape. You’ll get notes of cherry, redcurrant, followed by plums and raspberries with a touch of warm spices. The finish is smooth and very enjoyable. Best to enjoy a little chilled to enhance its fruitiness.
Pair it with charcuterie with Manchego cheese and olives, roasted meats, hummus.
