Mikro Ktima - Titos Goumenissa
In Central Macedonia, at the foot of the Paiko mountain range near the provincial town of Goumenissa, surrounded by age-old oaks, lies Mikro Ktima Titos (meaning: Small Estate of Titos). A small 4-hectares vineyard planted in 1972 where today, Evangelo Gerovassiliou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis (winemakers) set out to create, with love and respect, first-class quality wines from the indigenous grape varieties of the region.
Bright ruby color, this wine expressive on the nose with ripe red fruits, strawberry, morello cherry, raspberry intertwining herbal layers such as rosemary, and allspice. Medium-bodies, with lively acidity, soft tannins and delicious flavors of red fruits, and a touch of chocolate. A delicious and rewarding experience to red wine aficionados.
Ready to drink now but it keeps well for 5 to 7 more years.
Pair it with red meat, aged cheeses and even pasta with meat sauce.
